Dear friends, here is status of our Children of Sderot project. We have renovated a bomb shelter that used by the children of Sderot as a club for free-time activities and in the time of emergency. During emergency according to the rules of Israeli civil defense the shelter can be used by general population as well. The club is used by the "Mish'ol" program which provides services to the whole Neveh-Eshkol neighborhood. Size of the room: Flooring 40m2
Baruch Youssin our brave and careful representative in Israel documents the project and comments on work items: The air-conditioner had to be a special one for a bomb shelter. The walls are painted with a paint allowed for the bomb shelters: it does not create dust during explosions. It is not as nice as the paint used inside buildings usually but functionality first.
