Club Z Launches Boston chapter, thanks in part to RJCF Grant Club Z: Zionism for Teens has successfully launched its chapter in Boston! After a well-attended Ignite Event/Info session in May and a fun Ice Cream Social in September, over 24 teens have already enrolled in our Basic Training program — with more sign-ups expected. Feedback from Club Z Teens after their first educational session, which covered the subject of Jewish Peoplehood, was overwhelmingly positive. The Club Z community is looking forward to an amazing year filled with impactful learning sessions, inspiring speakers, and meaningful social & community events. The 17th Annual Boston-Sderot Summer Camp opened its doors to 80 children of Sderot this summer. We reunited for another successful session of Camp Boston Sderot filled with laughter, learning, and many lasting memories. From the moment the bus pulled in through the gates, there was no doubt this year's camp would be something special. Our incredible group of counselors, made up of three young Americans and ten Israelis, joined as a team to make all 50 campers feel loved and included. It was truly inspiring to see our Israeli counselors, who grew up in the camp themselves, step confidently into their roles as leaders, modeling teamwork, compassion, and dedication for the younger participants.

Chabad’s Terror Victims Project run a summer camp for widows and orphans whose husbands and fathers have fallen in the war since October 7th. As the war has dragged on, more and more families’ lives have been shattered, more children have been traumatized by losing a parent in the horrendous battles in Gaza and in the north, or worse, become orphans. The CTVP Summer Camp of Hope and Healing is vital in bringing these children comfort they so badly need - it is a sanctuary of healing, strength, resilience, and Jewish pride for thousands of Israeli children. RJCF received a Thank You letter with a video from the organizers.

Dear friends at Zionist House and RJCF, I'm happy to write you this update letter again. A few things in my life have changed since the last letter I wrote. I moved from Haifa to Tirat Carmel in January. I used to live alone in my previous apartment, and now I live with a roommate. We found a great connection despite the age difference — she’s 20 years old and a soldier in the army, and I’m five years older than her. It’s a real blessing to have found such a wonderful girl to live with and share experiences.

Equally as important, the impact extends to the volunteer counselors who:

* Build a strong connection to our sister community in Sderot * Come home with an unbreakable sense of pride in standing with Israel * Share stories of their experiences upon their return to their college campuses
