Letter from our solder: Victoria Korobko (summer 2025)
Posted on July 1, 2025
Dear Friends at Zionist House and RJCF,
Hello, my name is Victoria Korobko.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself .
I was born in Ukraine and made Aliyah when I was 9 years old. Since then, I’ve been living in Rishon Lezion with my family and our cat, Itsik. For the past year, I’ve been in a relationship, and we’re planning to move in together soon – something I find very exciting.
I currently work in the Human Resources department at Ben Gurion Airport, in a role that allows me to combine working with people and contributing to a large, meaningful system. I truly enjoy this field, which enables me to listen, support, guide, and help create a positive and impactful work environment.
From time to time, I volunteer for reserve duty at the Israeli Air Force Command Center, and I also volunteer at a horse farm – helping guard the farm with a friend. It’s very important to me to give back to the community and do my part to help however I can.
Academically, I’m currently in my third year of Economics studies, and I’ve recently moved on to subjects I find especially interesting. So far, this academic year has been going very well for me, and I’ve been receiving good grades.
I would also like to say thank you – for giving me the opportunity to continue learning and growing. It gives me confidence to know I have the means to positively shape my future.
I hope that one day I will also be a Contributor of Impact, so I can pass it forward and help someone else build their future.
Best regards,
Viktoria Korobko
