Our previous camps for children of Sderot were very successful. Not only children were taken away for a brief respite from Kassam fire, they took part in nature trips, math and English clubs, and learned about Chanukah and Jewish traditions.
Thanks to all who donated towards this great cause in the past!
We need you help again.

Summer Camps for Children of Sderot organized and sponsored by the Russian Jewish community became a tradition. This year, once again, 50 children from Sderot will go to a camp in Israel away from Kassams. They will be doing hiking, learning, swimming, and striking new friendships. As always, counselors from our community will travel to Israel to work with children, to support our people, and our land.
* Professor Anna Geifman, world renowned expert on terrorism, called Sderot an example of post-modern terrorism, where the enemy is creating a dead zone, a de facto prisoner camp. In Professor Geifman's opinion our help to Sderot is a very effective weapon against terrorism -- where there is no life, we create life, where children are condemned to isolation, we create a community, where each man is for himself, we bring love, support, and friendship.
Please, let's do our share and contribute to the Summer camp for Children of Sderot (this year it will take place in the vicinity of Jerusalem).
